Turbine transient with multi-physics
Simulations of turbomachinery performance during transient operation have traditionally relied on 1D and 2D methods, but Turbostream allows full 3D models of both the fluid and the solid to be used within realistic time scales. This two-stage low-speed turbine model was run through a lift-off and throttle-down transient in just two hours.
