Turbostream 3.1

The current release of Turbostream (3.1) has the following functionality:


  • Multi-block topology to capture complex geometries
  • Mixing planes for multi-stage steady-state calculations
  • Support for time-accurate simulations using sliding planes and Jameson's dual time stepping scheme
  • Mixing-length or Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model with a Poisson-based wall distance calculation
  • Convergence acceleration using multi-grid and local time stepping
  • Support for the modelling of cooling flows through solid surfaces
  • A large set of Python modules for pre- and post-processing, including readers for most popular grid generators.
