Turbostream is the fastest software in the world for simulating the flow through turbomachines.
Turbostream is heavily based on the long line of codes from John Denton. These codes have been in constant development since the 1970s, and are used throughout the turbomachinery community for the design of new machines.
Turbostream is a complete re-implementation of the latest Denton code, and was developed as a response to the growing dominance of multi-core processors for scientific simulations. By using a unique templating approach, the solver can take maximum advantage of novel multi-core processors such as CPUs and GPUs. In addition, this technique allows the solver to easily adapt to any future processor with only minor code modifications.
